Job summary

Ethereum Technologies in Seattle is seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases to deliver robust backend services.

The role involves implementing security, performing unit testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Experience with CI/CD and cloud familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java 8 or later with solid OO design.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST services.
• Develop and maintain microservices with database integration.
• Strong SQL skills and ORM familiarity (Hibernate/JPA).
• Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with testing (JUnit/Mockito) and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications.
• Build backend services using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with relational databases and write SQL/stored procedures.
• Implement authentication and authorization with secure practices.
• Write clean, reusable code and perform code reviews.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, DevOps, and other developers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and CI/CD processes.
• Support deployments, production issues, and performance tuning.
• Create technical documentation.
