Job summary

Highbrow Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer in Atlanta to design, build, and maintain scalable Java applications.

You will work on distributed, event-driven systems with a strong focus on performance and reliability, using Core Java and Spring Boot to deliver robust REST services. Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Core Java and Spring Boot to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications. The role requires hands-on experience in building distributed, event-driven systems, along with exposure to AWS, Kafka, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications
• Build and implement RESTful services using Spring Boot framework
• Develop scalable, resilient solutions using event-driven and distributed architectures
• Integrate messaging systems such as Kafka for asynchronous processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and code deployment processes
• Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance

Required Skills (Primary)

• Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8+)
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns
• Well verse with microservices architecture
• Working with SQL and No SQL databases.

Preferred Skills (Secondary)
