Everforth Apex Systems in Newark, Delaware, is seeking a Java Application Developer with strong Core Java and OO skills for a hybrid role requiring three days onsite weekly.

You will develop and maintain Java applications, provide LLE triage, support releases, and design components using patterns. Expect REST/SOAP services, caching, and XML processing with cross-time-zone collaboration.

Qualifications

• Core Java and solid OOP skills.
• Design Patterns and UML experience.
• J2EE with app servers Websphere/WebLogic/JBoss/Tomcat.
• Spring Core, Spring Integration, and Spring AOP experience.
• REST and SOAP web services development.
• JPDA/Hibernate knowledge.
• Distributed caching with ehCache or Websphere eXtreme Scale.
• XML processing with JAXB, XStream, or Stax.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications.
• Provide triage and support for LLE (lower-level environments).
• Support application releases and deployment processes.
• Design new components and apply design patterns.
• Develop REST and SOAP web services and web applications.
• Work with distributed caching frameworks and XML processing tools.
• Ensure application performance through tuning and profiling.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple time zones.
