Job summary

Qualifications

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Cha $115k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy Java applications following best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to implement new features.
• Maintain and improve existing codebase for performance, security, and scalability.
• Debug and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Integrate Java applications with databases, APIs, and other services.
• Stay updated with the latest industry developments and Java technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Java SE/EE and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
