Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer, Full Stack Developer, or similar software engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in Java, including object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling, multithreading, and modern Java features.
• Hands-on experience developing applications using Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, service communication, resiliency, and distributed systems.
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, offsets, and consumer groups.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases.

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and enterprise software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot, hands-on experience with microservices and event-driven architectures, and the ability to collaborate effectively with frontend, QA, product, and DevOps teams.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $90k - $95k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role
