Job summary

Auria is seeking an Algorithm Software Engineer to design and implement Java-based mathematical algorithms for the C2BMC program. This on-site role in Huntsville, AL requires active DoD clearance and collaboration with cross-functional teams across engineering and testing.

You will contribute to full software life cycle activities, participate in Agile planning, perform reviews, testing, and presentation of designs to stakeholders. Travel is possible up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field with 5 years of experience or Master’s with 3 years experience.
• Alternative: 9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Generate software design artifacts and implement Java-based software changes.
• Support design and code reviews, and aid in software testing and issue resolution.
• Present developed designs.
• Actively participate in Agile planning and execution using C2BMC processes.
