Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando is seeking a Chief Engineering Senior Manager for the JASSM program within the Strike Systems area. You will lead the JASSM Chief Engineering staff and coordinate with other Strike Systems Chiefs to ensure cross‑program collaboration.

This role reports to the Hypersonics and Strike Systems Director Chief Engineer and requires technical leadership, strategic planning, and delivery of milestones across USG and FMS customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with missile systems design and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to meet milestones on schedule.
• Provide technical/programmatic oversight on JASSM platform integration across USG and FMS customers.
• Oversee JASSM development efforts and new variant development.
• Oversee production execution, transition to production, and ramp efforts.
• Develop a productive relationship with the USG customer.
• Shape product roadmap strategy and second source suppliers.
• Guide engineering teams in planning, scheduling, trade studies, design concepts, verification, and life cycle reviews.
• Ensure appropriate staffing from an E&T perspective.
• Collaborate with Engineering Excellence to ensure milestones are completed.
• Support and lead program technical reviews and participate in meetings.
• Communicate lessons learned and drive cross-task synergy.
