Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking an Equipment / Jarraff / SkyTrim Operator to join our utility line clearance team serving Carrollton and Carroll County, Ohio. This on-site role focuses on operating Jarraff and SkyTrim equipment safely on utility right-of-way.

You will be part of a crew, responsible for safety and performing assigned duties, with opportunities for training and advancement within a national leader in environmental services.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work required with safety-conscious approach.
• Minimum 2 years mobile equipment operating experience and training.
• Must pass mobile equipment operations certification test.
• Able to complete Davey Tree Orientation Program on hire.
• Able to complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving on hire.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL-A or CDL-B with Air Brake Endorsement preferred.
• Line clearance/tree work experience preferred.
• Pesticide licenses/certificates as required by state law preferred.
• ISA/TCIA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Jarraff/SkyTrim on utility right-of-way.
• Maintain crew and equipment safety during tree removal.
• Assist in all crew functions as needed.
