Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. in Cambridge, OH is hiring an Equipment / Jarraff / SkyTrim Operator to join our utility line clearance crew serving Guernsey and Tuscarawas Counties. You will operate Jarraff/SkyTrim equipment on the right-of-way and help the crew, with a focus on safety.

The role requires outdoor work, a valid driver's license, and minimum two years of mobile equipment operation. CDL-A/B with air brake is preferred; certifications and training may be required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Minimum of two years mobile equipment operating experience and training.
• Be capable of passing a mobile equipment operations certification test.
• Complete Davey Tree Orientation Program upon hire.
• Complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Required: valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: CDL-A or B with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Preferred: line clearance experience or other related tree work.
• Preferred: pesticide licenses/certificates, if required by state law.
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional.

Responsibilities

• Operate Jarraff / SkyTrim mobile equipment on utility right-of-way.
• Ensure equipment and crew safety during tree removals.
• Assist in all job functions as a crew member.
