Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Dickson, TN is seeking a Jarraff Operator to operate heavy equipment and remove branches from electrical lines. This role requires safe operation, physical stamina, and readiness to travel for storm restoration work as needed.

Ideal candidates will have prior heavy equipment experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and the ability to obtain and maintain a CDL and DOT Medical Card. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and a 401K.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Prior heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CDL and DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Assist in preparing equipment and materials for each day's work.
• Cleans up and disposes of all debris.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and public.
• Maintains and repairs equipment and tools used in operations.
• Travel for storm restoration work when needed.
