Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Jarraff Operator/Foreperson for the Hagerstown, MD area to operate heavy equipment and remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. The role requires on-site work with travel during storm restoration and a focus on safety and equipment maintenance.

Essential duties include leading crew members, preparing equipment, and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in utility vegetation or related fields preferred.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and operate equipment responsibly.
• Ability to lead crew and assist Foreperson as needed.
• Must pass background check and drug screen per job policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned heavy equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining equipment and materials for daily operations.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tools to ensure safe operation.
• Lead or assist crew members and coordinate activities during daily tasks.
• Perform storm work duties as needed and travel when required.
