Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Jarraff Operator to run heavy equipment for clearing vegetation from electrical lines. This full-time role requires strict safety adherence and daily equipment checks, with guidance from the Foreperson.

You’ll work outdoors in varying weather, assist crew members, and travel for storm restoration as needed. CDL/DOT credentials, CPR/first aid, and PPE are required, with health insurance and 401K benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable about daily maintenance and safe operations of equipment.
• Able to climb into and around mobile equipment and work outdoors in varied weather.
• Able to obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR.
• Must wear necessary PPE and maintain good vision and balance.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License; CDL/DOT card required for truck operation.
• Able to read, write and comprehend job instructions and travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to remov branches and tree material from lines as directed.
• Follow safety rules, assist in equipment prep and daily maintenance.
• Support crew under Foreperson; lead when required and report mileage.
• Set up barriers and maintain clean work area; assist storm restoration duties.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment specs and company policies.
