Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a capable on-site supervisor to oversee janitorial staff at the Monroeville location. You will train personnel, assign shifts, and ensure timely payroll documentation while maintaining high safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. This position offers on-site work with regular daytime scheduling aligned to client needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of janitorial supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently.
• High level of integrity and professionalism required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train janitorial staff in the building.
• Assign shift and area work responsibilities.
• Manage employee relations and performance issues promptly and appropriately; document and report concerns to management or HR.
• Review employee timekeeping records to ensure compliance with timekeeping rules and complete payroll documentation to ensure employees are paid accurately.
• Inspect the job site regularly to identify quality concerns or project work needs; complete and submit inspection reports.
• Identify and communicate the need for special project work to management.
• Operate floor-cleaning equipment as needed (e.g., buffer, walk-behind scrubber, spot carpet cleaner).
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to customer concerns or complaints.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents.
• Complete all required training courses.

Summary

Oversee, train, and direct on-site janitorial staff to ensure a safe work environment while consistently meeting or exceeding customer quality expectations.
