Job summary

GDI Services Inc US seeks an on-site Janitorial Supervisor in Bismarck, ND to oversee, train, and direct the janitorial staff to meet safety and quality standards. You will schedule shifts, inspect work, address performance issues, ensure clock-in/out accuracy, and respond to customer concerns while enforcing safety policies.

The role requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a focus on client satisfaction and regulatory

Qualifications

• 3+ years janitorial supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to show judgment and to work independently.
• High integrity required.

• Oversee daily clock-in/out procedures.
• Inspect the jobsite regularly to identify quality concerns; submit inspection reports.

• Respond quickly and appropriately to customer concerns or complaints.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures; report and investigate accidents.
• Complete training courses as required.
• Perform other assigned duties to support operations.

Summary

Oversee, train, and direct the janitorial staff on site to ensure that all employees are kept safe and the customer’s quality expectations are met or exceeded.

Working Schedule

Monday-Friday (7:00am-3:00pm)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Train and supervise the work of the janitorial staff in the building.
• Designate shift and area work assignments.
• Manage employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately. Document and report to management or HR.
• Oversee daily clock-in/out procedures.
• Inspect the jobsite regularly to identify any quality concerns or project work needed; complete and submit inspection reports.
• Identify and communicate the need for any special project work to management.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents.
• Complete training courses as required
• Perform other assigned duties to support operations
