ServiceMaster is hiring for part-time evening janitorial roles in Northwest Houston. You’ll clean facilities, manage supplies, and ensure safe, welcoming environments for customers and students.

Qualifications

• 2 years of custodial/janitorial experience is a plus but not required.
• On-the-job training provided for motivated candidates.
• Experience with professional janitorial services or facilities is a plus.
• Flexible, fast-paced, and customer‑facing environment experience is beneficial.
• Must be dependable, in uniform, and on time.

Responsabilités

• Facility cleaning: sweep, mop, remove trash, and clean windows.
• Inventory: maintain supplies and equipment.
• Safety: use PPE and follow safety guidelines.
• Site security: open/close facilities and handle alarms as needed.

About the Role

As part of our evening janitorial team in Northwest Houston, you'll create cleaner, healthier environments for our customers, their students, and the grounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Cleaning — Sweep, mop, polish, remove trash, clean windows, and move furniture and equipment using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
• Inventory — Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Safety — Use proper PPE where required, including hard-toe shoes, hard hat, and safety vest.
• Site Security — Open and lock facilities, and arm and disarm security systems as required.
• Additional Duties — Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• 2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus, but not required.
• On-the-job training provided for those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Experience with a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
• Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking role.
• A positive attitude — in uniform, dependable, and on time.
• Respect for co-workers and customers.

Physical Demands & Qualifications

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching overhead and forward.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions and distinguish between cleaning products and their proper uses.

Schedule — 2 Positions Available

Shift Times

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Weekly Schedules

• Position 1 (40 hrs/week) — Works Sunday – Thursday | Off Friday & Saturday
• Position 2 (40 hrs/week) — Works Friday – Tuesday | Off Wednesday & Thursday
• Position 3 (32 hrs/week) — Works Wednesday - Saturday | Off Sunday, Monday & Tuesday
