The candidate should have at least 2 years in a similar role, be able to lift 40 pounds, and communicate well. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, with on-site work in New York.

Responsibilities

• Clean all surfaces and equipment and maintain facility organization.

• Foresee problems and implement preventative solutions.
• Perform tasks efficiently and as needed by the team.

Reliable Building & Maintenance Services is in search of a skilled and reliable Janitorial Porter to joinour maintenance team.

Position Description & Responsibilities

Must be able to perform the following tasks:

• Willingness to see something that needs to be cleaned, cleaning it without being asked.
• Cleaning spills of all types.
• Shoveling and preparing grounds for inclement weather.
• Ability to create and maintain the facility's organization.
• Cleaning all surfaces and equipment.
• Need to be able to manage dust and dirt.
• Maintain the facility through painting, cleaning, pressure washing, checking oil gauges etc.
• Foresee problems and implement preventative solutions.
• Perform logical troubleshooting (assessing a problem, developing a strategy with management and completing a job well and efficiently).
• Perform additional jobs as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years' working experience in a similar role.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time.
• Organized with good communication skills.
• Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.
• Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
• Pay: $16.50- $20.00 per hour
