The Budd Group is seeking a Janitorial Operations Manager in Charlotte, NC, with a focus on Private Education accounts. You will lead operational excellence, guide audits, and help set KPIs and cleaning frequencies while partnering with BD for growth in new opportunities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of salaried management experience in custodial operations, with up to 70% regional travel. Competitive base salary and benefits accompany this position.

• Pay: $95,000 - $110,000 base salary

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with flexibility to work evenings as needed for travel and operations.
• Requirements: Bachelor's Degree strictly required. 2-5 years of salaried janitorial management experience.

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the leading Janitorial Operations Manager for Private Education accounts, delivering tactical guidance and technical support.
• Quality Assurance & Operations: Conduct quarterly on-site audits, document findings, and implement best-in-class SOWs, KPIs, and cleaning frequencies.
• Pricing & Growth: Partner with Business Development to provide APPA-standard pricing, validating scope, staffing, and equipment for new opportunities.
• Strategic Leadership: Step in as the interim Regional Custodial Manager during manager absences to guarantee service continuity, and spearhead the operational launch of new school accounts.

What You Bring To The Team / Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree is strictly required (Business Administration, Facilities Management, or Operations Management preferred).
• Experience: 2-5 years of progressive, salaried management experience in custodial or janitorial operations within large, complex organizations.
• Drive & Autonomy: You are a highly motivated go-getter who can influence teams and drive projects forward without formal reporting authority.
• Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel regionally up to 70% of the time (including overnight stays) to support our premier educational partners.
