Job summary

ServiceMaster is seeking a Location Supervisor in Houston to oversee daily cleaning operations at the assigned worksite, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for customers and their clients. You will lead the crew by example and serve as the customer's main point of contact.

Responsibilities include crew leadership, facility cleaning, inventory, safety, site security, and other duties as assigned. Two part-time evening schedules are available, with shifts outlined above.

Qualifications

• Custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience is a plus (5+ years preferred), but not required.
• Experience with a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus.
• Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking role.
• A positive attitude — in uniform, dependable, and on time.
• Respect for co-workers and customers.
• Ability to communicate in English.

• Facility Cleaning — Sweep, mop, polish, remove trash, clean windows, and move furniture and equipment using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
• Inventory — Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Safety — Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
• Site Security — Open and close facilities, and arm/disarm security systems as required.
• Additional Duties — Other duties as assigned.

About the Role

Physical Demands & Qualifications

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching overhead and forward.


• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.


• Ability to read cleaning instructions and distinguish between cleaning products and their proper uses.

Schedule — 2 Schedule Options Available

All shifts run 8:0 AM – 12:00 PM, 20 hours/week.

• Position 1 — Works Sunday – Thursday | Off Friday & Saturday


• Position 2 — Works Friday – Tuesday | Off Wednesday & Thursday
