Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to supervise facility operations at a Merritt Island location. The role involves coordinating daily tasks, delegating assignments, and guiding a team to keep buildings clean and safe while managers are away.

You will oversee cleaning operations, manage schedules, handle keys and access, ensure quality, train new hires, and maintain records. A valid driver's license is preferred; 18+ years old, high school diploma not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• 1 year of similar work experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules, route cards as directed.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Provide open communication between field employees and management, monitor and document client communications.
• Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Take care of keys and access cards for the property.
• Report damaged, broken and out of work features/items.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests in assigned building.
• Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for all new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate any time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
