Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to supervise facility operations, delegate assignments, and guide site teams when the Manager is absent. The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe buildings and supporting janitorial duties as needed.

You will operate equipment, manage access control, report issues, help schedule work, and train new hires, while ensuring effective communication with management and clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• 1 year of similar work experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Report damaged, broken and out of work features/items.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag job) in assigned building.
• Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for all new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
