Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Lead/Supervisor to ensure facility operations meet policy standards and provide guidance to the team. The role involves coordinating daily tasks, supervising at locations when the Manager is away, and ensuring buildings are clean and safe for workers and customers.

The position includes operating specialized cleaning equipment, handling chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards; report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field staff and management; document client communications.
• Help with daily/weekly work schedules and oversee cleaning operations.
• Manage keys/access cards and report damaged or out-of-service items.
• Oversee additional service requests and verify completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Complete time records for regular or subcontractor staff.
