Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Bothell, WA is seeking a Janitorial Helper Clerk to maintain cleanliness across the store, including sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, and trash removal. You may assist in the Grocery department when needed.

The role requires physical stamina and weekend availability; a WA Food Worker Card is required. Starting wage is posted, and benefits are offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to meet physical demands of the job including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-40lbs regularly.
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and order throughout the store.
• General cleaning duties including sweeping and mopping the sales floor, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining the eating areas, taking out the trash, and cleaning the meat department.
• Responsible for cleaning the refrigerated cases and other deep cleaning projects as needed.
• Pressure washing shopping carts, baskets and outdoor areas.
• Other cleaning duties as needed.
• Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Stocks and faces grocery items when needed.
• Operates all equipment in accordance with PCC standards.
