Job summary

PCC Community Markets is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service in a busy store environment. You will bag groceries, assist customers with carryout, and help maintain a clean, organized store.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. A WA Food Worker Card is required. Competitive wage with benefits and union support are included.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must meet physical demands of the job including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40lbs regularly.
• Current Food Worker Card from WA Dept. of Health required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Bag groceries and provide carryout according to PCC bagging guidelines.
• General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, trash, and shelves.
• Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the store.
• Stock bags in check stands and bulk containers.
• Return merchandise and verify pricing at the sales shelf.
• Ensure department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards.
• Operate all equipment per PCC standards.

Main Job Responsibilities
