Job summary

Frantz Building Services in Owensboro, KY is hiring a Janitorial Floor Tech for the 2nd shift on a full-time basis. The role includes floor care such as stripping, refinishing, and carpet extraction, plus general cleaning of offices, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas.

The job requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to work long hours as needed, and travel to multiple locations. Weekly pay and a strong benefits package accompany employment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work long hours when needed and travel to multiple locations.
• Experience in janitorial or cleaning services preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Strip and refinish VCT floors; scrub and recoating; burnish as needed.
• Perform carpet extraction and routine floor maintenance.
• Maintain and clean offices, lobbies, restrooms, breakrooms, and other high-traffic areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop floors, clean glass and doors, and complete daily tasks on schedule.

• Schedule may vary based on job assignments and customer needs

PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly - Every Friday

What the job looks like:

• Stripping & refinishing VCT, scrubbing & recoating VCT. Burnishing VCT
• Carpet Extraction
• Other duties include:
  • Maintain and clean offices, lobbies, restrooms, breakrooms, and other high-traffic areas.
  • Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
  • Clean glass and doors.
  • Completes all scheduled daily assignments within designated time frames

*MUST have a VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE and CLEAN DRIVING RECORD*

*MUST be willing to work long hours when needed AND travel to multiple locations*
