Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Lead to supervise on-site crews in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on directing tasks, coordinating with the client, and upholding safety and quality standards to ensure daily operations run smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in a lead role, janitorial operations experience, and the ability to follow safety rules and OSHA guidelines. Strong customer service and team leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment strongly preferred.
• 1–3 years in a Lead/Supervisory role
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safety data sheets (generally in English)
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.
• Customer service oriented, friendly, and capable of motivating team members and supporting customer requests in an orderly manner.
• KBSPresence mobile timekeeping usage and related requirements for non-exempt employees

Responsibilities

• The Crew Lead performs site crew tasks and ensures tasks are fully executed at site.
• Interact with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed.
• Provide direction and task coordination for assigned Crew.
• Ensure crew members understand and are knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy.
• Coordinate daily operations and address deficiencies in a timely manner.
• Assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and training.
• Ensure team members have information and tools to do their jobs effectively; provide support for success.
• May assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with interviews and training.
• Motivate the crew; lead by example and communicate clearly with team members.
