Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Account Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations and administrative tasks, ensuring contract conformance and profitability for the assigned building. You will supervise supervisors and leads, manage inspections, controls, and payroll, and drive revenue growth by expanding periodic service offerings.

The role requires strong leadership, cost awareness, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and managers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a service/customer‑oriented environment.
• 2+ years of janitorial, custodial, or facilities management experience preferred.
• Experience in cost estimating/pricing work.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence; present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure services are performed as contracted and at intended profit margins.
• Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.
• Manage quality control monitoring and safety programs for assigned buildings.
• Conduct quality of service inspections at assigned buildings.
• Increase revenue by encouraging supervisors to offer additional or periodic services.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Complete and submit paperwork to district/hub in a timely manner.
• Analyze and manage financial and operational performance of the buildings.
• Ensure payroll is accurate and resolved promptly.
• Provide leadership to Supervisors and Lead personnel; supervise staff per policies.
