You will supervise operations, schedule shifts, and ensure we meet or exceed customer expectations. The role requires hands-on leadership, training new employees, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring payroll timekeeping and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years progressively increasing management experience in the janitorial industry required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train the work of the janitorial staff in the building.
• Designate shift and area work assignments.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to customer concerns or complaints; ensure closure on issues.
• Onboard and set-up training for all new employees; hands-on training and job shadowing.
• Train by example: perform the duties of a janitor while they shadow you.
• Manage employee relations or performance issues; document and report to management/HR.
• Identify and communicate the need for special project work to management.
• Review timekeeping and complete payroll documents to ensure proper payment.
