Chestnut Hill Realty is hiring a Janitor in Providence. The role focuses on maintaining clean units and common areas, performing window and carpet care, and assisting with turnover preparations.

Responsibilities

• General clean-up of units, common areas, and property.
• Removal and proper disposal of recycling materials.
• Shampooing of carpets.
• Window cleaning.
• Cleaning/polishing of fixtures and mirrors.
• Touch-up painting as required.
• Prepare units for turnover under supervisor direction.
• Assist with snow removal and debris when necessary.
• Complete special projects and take on additional responsibilities.

As a Janitor you will be responsible for:

• General clean-up of units, cleaning of common areas, and/or property.
• Removal and proper disposal of recycling materials
• Shampooing of carpets
• Window cleaning
• Cleaning/polishing of fixtures, glass and/or mirrors
• Touch-up painting as required
• General clean up of units to prepare for turnover at supervisor’s direction
• When necessary, may assist with the removal of snow and debris from grounds to provide safe passage for all.
• Complete special projects/assume additional responsibilities as assigned
• Enjoy being part of a hardworking, dedicated team
• Understand emergencies arise, and are comfortable being on call (weekends and nights required)
• Reliable transportation is required
