Job summary

Chestnut Hill Realty, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain clean and safe living spaces for residents in our Providence portfolio. You will perform routine cleaning of units and common areas, manage recycling disposal, shampoo carpets, clean windows, and touch up paint as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial/cleaning roles preferred.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Do you have prior experience working as a painter, porter, construction laborer, landscaper, cleaner or from the hospitality industry? Considering joining our team in our Providence portfolio and start a new career today!

As a Janitor you will be responsible for:

• General clean-up of units, cleaning of common areas, and/or property.
• Removal and proper disposal of recycling materials
• Shampooing of carpets
• Window cleaning
• Cleaning/polishing of fixtures, glass and/or mirrors
• Touch-up painting as required
• General clean up of units to prepare for turnover at supervisor’s direction
• When necessary, may assist with the removal of snow and debris from grounds to provide safe passage for all.
• Complete special projects/assume additional responsibilities as assigned
• Enjoy being part of a hardworking, dedicated team
• Understand emergencies arise, and are comfortable being on call (weekends and nights required)
• Reliable transportation is required
