Job summary

Chestnut Hill Realty is seeking a Janitor to join the Providence team. You will perform general cleaning of units and common areas, and assist with routine maintenance to ensure residents have a comfortable living environment.

The role requires on-call availability on weekends and nights, reliable transportation, and the ability to work with a dedicated team. Compensation is hourly with a strong benefits package and opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

• General clean-up of units, cleaning of common areas, and/or property.
• Removal and proper disposal of recycling materials
• Shampooing of carpets
• Window cleaning
• Cleaning/polishing of fixtures, glass and/or mirrors
• Touch-up painting as required
• General clean up of units to prepare for turnover at supervisor’s direction
• When necessary, may assist with the removal of snow and debris from grounds to provide safe passage for all.
• Complete special projects/assume additional responsibilities as assigned
• Enjoy being part of a hardworking, dedicated team
• Understand emergencies arise, and are comfortable being on call (weekends and nights required)
• Reliable transportation is required
