Job summary

Related Management Company is seeking a reliable Janitor/Porter for its Long Island City properties. You will maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, elevators, common areas and restrooms, and assist with light maintenance as needed.

The role requires 1-2 years of janitorial experience, ability to lift up to 50lbs, and a team-oriented work ethic. Working schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am with Sundays and Mondays off.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years prior janitor, cleaner, or porter experience.
• Must be reliable and have experience working with cleaning chemicals.
• Must be a team player and be able to work with little supervision.
• Excellent time management skills and work ethic needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to stand for an 8 hour shift.
• Light maintenance knowledge is a plus.
• You may be required to be on call as needed*
