Job summary

Calvary Albuquerque Inc is seeking a part-time custodian to maintain campus facilities and support ministries and events. Responsibilities include cleaning, floor care, window cleaning, trash disposal, and assisting with setup/teardown of equipment for weddings, funerals, and services.

The role requires reliability, ability to follow directions, and willingness to work with a team or independently. Flexible hours and on-call support are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Cleans and maintains building facilities.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors.
• Assist in intensive floor care including carpet cleaning, waxing, or polishing.
• Dust partitions, walls, fixtures and other equipment.
• Clean windows and window frames, inside and outside.
• Gather and dispose of trash in offices and outside receptacles.
• Assist with set up, tear down, arranging, and/or removing of tables, chairs, and equipment for events.
• Assist in building security by locking and unlocking buildings.
• On call during service times for emergency clean up or assistance.
• Other projects/duties as assigned.

Calvary Albuquerque is looking for an enthusiastic servant of the Lord to fulfill a part-time custodial position with flexible work hours. The Janitor will beresponsible for the appearance and cleanliness of the buildings of Calvery's campus. This position assists in the following: flooring maintenance; set up and take down of resources for special events, weddings, funerals and ministries; facility cleaning and the building security.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Cleans and maintains building facilities.

• Assist in intensive floor care including carpet cleaning, waxing, or polishing.
• Dust partitions, walls, fixtures and other equipment.

• Gather and dispose of trash in offices and outside receptacles.
• Assist with set up, tear down, arranging, and/or removing of tables, chairs, and equipment to prepare the facility for ministries, special events, weddings and funerals.
• Assist in building security by locking and unlocking buildings.
• On call during service times for emergency clean up or assistance.
• Other projects/duties as assigned.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Floor care experience a plus
• Able to follow oral and or written instructions
• Able to work effectively with the team and/or independently
• Ability to complete assigned responsibilities and duties under direction from supervisor as well as to be self-motivated and take individual initiative
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Regular, timely attendance during stated scheduled hours
