Job Description: Janitor

SSC is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Janitor positions located at Roane County Schools, 120 Breazeales Street, Harriman, TN 37748. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: No prior experience is required; training will be provided.

Pay and Perks:

• Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour
• Sign-on Bonus: Full time $500, Part time $250

Job Summary

The Janitor keeps buildings clean and orderly, performing duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Dispose of trash following approved procedures
• Clean floors, walls, windows, and surfaces; sanitize all surfaces
• Move and replace furniture and equipment as needed
• Perform floor stripping, scrubbing, buffing, and carpet shampooing
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, following all guidelines
• Assist team members and perform additional duties as assigned
