Job Opening: Janitor (Full-time and Part-time)

We have openings for full-time and part-time Janitor positions at Johnson & Johnson, located at 1440 Olympic Drive, Athens, GA 30606. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedules include Sunday through Thursday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, or Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Additional details will be provided during the interview.

Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of buildings by performing heavy cleaning duties, including floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and return them to proper placement.
• Clean assigned areas using appropriate materials and equipment, following the eight-step cleaning procedure, and sanitize all surfaces.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks proactively.
• Follow all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Work collaboratively with team members and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
