We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Janitor positions at SSC.

Location

Crandall ISD - 400 West Lewis Street, Crandall, TX 75114. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time schedules available, Monday - Friday. Hours may vary; more details provided upon interview.

$12.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Keeps buildings clean and orderly, performs heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning; restore furniture to proper placement.
• Clean assigned areas using designated materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces following the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in compliance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to team efforts; exhibit professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
