Job Summary

Maintains building cleanliness and orderliness. Performs heavy cleaning duties including floors, rugs, walls, glass, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
2. Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
3. Move equipment and furniture for cleaning; restore furniture to original placement.
4. Clean assigned areas using appropriate materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces following the eight-step cleaning process.
5. Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
6. Identify areas needing cleaning; proactively complete tasks.
7. Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
8. Follow all federal, state, and county guidelines.
9. Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
10. Contribute to team efforts; exhibit professionalism with customers and colleagues.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
