Job Summary

Summary: Maintain cleanliness and order in buildings. Perform heavy cleaning tasks such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors according to procedures.
• Move and replace furniture and equipment for cleaning.
• Clean assigned areas using proper materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces; follow the eight-step cleaning process.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to ensure a clean environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and proactively complete tasks.
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisors, adhering to federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to team efforts; maintain professionalism with clients and colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
