Job Title: Janitor

Reporting to the Janitorial Supervisor, the Janitor is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned buildings according to contract standards.

Essential Functions

• Complete assigned janitorial duties according to your schedule and quality standards.
• Practice safety precautions with supplies, including hazardous materials, SDS, and universal precautions.
• Follow safe lifting procedures.
• Perform duties as assigned by Team Leads or Supervisor.
• Be flexible with duties and schedule changes.
• Use agency resources responsibly, avoiding waste of time and materials.
• Provide transportation to and from worksites if necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

The janitor works in a professional setting and may interact with clients.

Physical Demands

Must be able to push, pull, or carry 40 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently. Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and handle cleaning chemicals. Must have good vision to perform duties accurately. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and chemicals may occur.
