Job description

The Center for Human Development is currently seeking a Janitor/Custodian to join the team.

The ideal candidate for the Janitor/Custodian role is a professional committed to providing safe, high-quality physical environments for the Department of Youth Service’s Westfield Youth Service Center. The Janitor/Custodian chosen will provide the maintenance and repair of the building’s interior, upkeep of the grounds, ensure that the safety and security of the building is maintained, maintain cleanliness, and perform related work as needed. The Janitor/Custodian works with staff to establish open communication, support, and accountability. She/he is accountable to the building maintenance supervisor, who is responsible for providing operational supervision and training.

Requirements:

1. Must be 21 years of age
2. Must be able to pass a CORI/DEEC Background Check
3. Must have a Valid Driver’s License
4. High School Diploma or GED
