Job summary

Applebrook Homes LLC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of the resort office, public restrooms, pool areas, and common spaces in New Orleans. Responsibilities include mopping, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and assisting with rental units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean resort office, public restrooms and pool areas with mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Clean showers and laundry areas twice daily (shift start and end).
• Lightly clean up to 9 rental cabins per day (no beds or bathrooms).
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas throughout the property.
• Monitor restrooms and common areas and clean as needed.
• Assist with housekeeping and cleaning of rental units or other areas as needed.
• Track cleaning supply inventory and request refills.
• Keep work area clean and properly care for equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the Property Manager.
• Assist with deep cleaning and seasonal projects as needed.

Position Summary

The Housekeeper is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property's office, public restrooms, pool areas, and common spaces with duties including but not limited to mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal. This role involves keeping track of cleaning supply inventory, reporting issues to the Property Manager, and taking pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean the resort office, public restrooms and pool areas including mopping, dusting, vacuuming and removing trash.
• Clean showers and laundry areas twice daily (beginning and end of work shift).
• Lightly cleaning of up to 9 rental cabins a day (no beds or bathrooms).
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas throughout the Property
• Monitor restrooms and common areas throughout the day and clean as needed.
• Assist with housekeeping and cleaning of rental units or other areas of the property as needed.
• Keep track of cleaning supply inventory and request refills as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly use and care for equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance, safety, or repair concerns to the Property Manager.
• Assist with deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning projects as needed.

Required Skills/Experience

• At least 1 year of previous housekeeping experience in a hospitality environment, required.
• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Motivated and dedicated to serving customers and a job well done.
• Must be able to maintain high standards and work safely.
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be within commuting distance from the property.
