Job Description: Janitor / Busser

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This role involves cleaning and maintaining the Twin Peaks restaurant, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Each team member is expected to demonstrate pride, discipline, and adherence to cleanliness standards.

THE UNIFORM

• Wear the TP black hat facing forward at all times, brim not bent.
• Keep hair clean and tucked under the hat.
• Maintain a clean-shaven face; beards and mustaches must be groomed.
• Trim fingernails regularly.
• Jewelry should not be worn on ears, face, neck, or wrists.
• Avoid wearing headphones or earbuds.
• Wear a clean, non-faded, and wrinkle-free TP kitchen shirt tucked in.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow uniform standards and policies to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Keep stations and equipment organized and clean.
• Comply with HOH standards, safety, sanitation, and GHS requirements.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Use tablets or computers for training.
• Perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tables.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Janitor Busser.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and understand cleaning and sanitation policies.

REASONING ABILITY

Apply common sense to carry out simple instructions and handle standard situations with minimal variables.

CERTIFICATES AND TRAINING

Attend orientation, adhere to policies, and complete required training, including any local or state certifications such as food or alcohol service.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Stand, walk, handle objects, and communicate regularly. Lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. Visual abilities include close, peripheral, and depth perception.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
