Homegrown Hospitality Group is now hiring a Busser. As a Busser, you'll play a vital role in creating a seamless dining experience for our guests. Your attention to detail and efficiency will contribute to a positive and memorable dining experience. This role focuses on the cleanliness and upkeep of the front of house dining and service areas.

The Homegrown Hospitality Group encompasses 9 different concepts and over 15 locations throughout South Carolina, including Charleston, Columbia, and Myrtle Beach. Multiple concepts, multiple locations, one big family!

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness in the front of house, dining room, bar, lounge, restrooms, and service stations, including outside expo and dish area.
• Practices safe handling and storage of products, chemicals, and utensils, following state laws and creating a hazard-free environment.
• Follows instructions for chemical use and disposal, and uses wet floor signs appropriately.
• Maintains garbage areas inside and outside, changing out containers regularly and keeping storage areas clean.
• Supports in stocking ice, paper products, and other guest service items.
• Operates dish machines and handles equipment safely, measuring sanitizer and soap levels.
• Supports Host, Bar, and Service staff as needed.
• Ensures work areas are sanitized and orderly, complying with health regulations.
• Carries large loads of plates, utensils, and glassware to the kitchen.
• Cleans and clears tables efficiently, sweeps/vacuums floors, and removes trash.
• Identifies hazards like wet floors or obstacles and works with management to address them.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years old.
• Must complete Alcohol Safety training within 7 days of employment.
• Restaurant experience preferred but not required.
