Job summary

Didlake is seeking a dedicated janitor to independently clean restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, and other work areas across the site. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and replenish supplies while following safety standards and Didlake policies.

A valid REAL ID is required to enter the worksite. The role rewards reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months custodial or janitorial experience.
• Valid REAL ID required to enter the site.
• Ability to follow simple but detailed instructions.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators/escalators, and other work areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment; polish metalwork and fittings.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets, transport trash to disposal areas, and recycle materials appropriately.
• Replenish restroom supplies as needed.
• Follow all safety standards and proper use of cleaning equipment.
• Maintain quality work and appropriate conduct in line with Didlake policies.
• Complete and maintain all required Didlake training.

Why This Role Matters

The Janitor independently cleans restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators/escalators, and other work areas. Duties involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping floors; removing trash and other materials for recycling; dusting furniture or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; replenishing restroom supplies.

Education & Experience
