Job Summary

This position offers steady daytime hours, a consistent routine, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive property operations team. The right candidate will enjoy hands‑on work, pay close attention to detail, and help maintain a clean, well‑functioning clubhouse, gym, restroom, kitchen, and pool area.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the clubhouse, including restrooms, tables, chairs, floors, windows, and blinds.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform general janitorial tasks throughout assigned areas.
• Clean the women’s and men’s gym areas to maintain a sanitary and organized environment.
• Clean and maintain the pool area, including pressure washing debris as needed.
• Check for broken items, visible maintenance concerns, and possible leaks in the kitchen area.
• Report repair needs, safety concerns, or facility issues to the appropriate team member.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $37,440 to $39,520 per year.
• Job type: Direct hire.
• Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch.
• Location: Union City, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Clean and maintain clubhouse common areas, restrooms, gym areas, kitchen areas, and pool surroundings.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning, and general custodial duties.
• Inspect assigned areas for cleanliness, damage, leaks, broken items, or maintenance needs.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming property environment through consistent daily upkeep.
• 1 to 2 years of janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or facilities cleaning experience is helpful.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable using basic cleaning tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic.
• Ability to communicate maintenance concerns or safety issues clearly and promptly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning clubhouses, fitness centers, pool areas, residential communities, or property management facilities.
• Experience using pressure washing equipment.
• Familiarity with safe handling of standard cleaning products and supplies.
