Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a full-time janitorial/maintenance worker in Topeka, Kansas, to keep buildings and grounds safe, clean, and presentable. You will manage routine cleaning, trash removal, and assist with donations and setup for meetings, under the supervision of site leadership.

Job Objective: Maintain property and grounds accordance with acceptable standards of safety, cleanliness and appearance. Properties include building, grounds and equipment serving the building.

Essential Functions:

Driving:Employee must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.

Working Conditions: Work is performed in a typical office environment and some outdoor activities.
