The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a reliable janitorial and maintenance assistant to maintain safety, cleanliness, and appearance of the building, grounds, and equipment. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, minor maintenance, and assisting with donations and pantry restocking.
Role requires ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and to interact respectfully with diverse groups in a church-affiliated environment.
Maintain property and grounds accordance with acceptable standards of safety, cleanliness and appearance. Properties include building, grounds and equipment serving the building.
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience: Janitorial and maintenance experience preferred but not required
Certifications/Licenses: None
This position does have authority to assign a nd check work of AARP participants and volunteers. This position may recommend employment status changes to a supervisor, but not make disciplinary decisions and will not formally evaluate performance of other employees. (Lead/Shift Lead)
