Job summary

The Salvation Army in Topeka, KS is seeking a dedicated janitor to maintain safety, cleanliness, and appearance of the building, its grounds and equipment.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, restroom upkeep, and assisting with donations and events. The role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work with diverse groups; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Janitorial and maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Certifications/Licenses: None

Driving:Employee must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.

Working Conditions: Work is performed in a typical office environment and some outdoor activities.
