Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a custodian to perform daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, bathrooms and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and trash removal.

The role includes maintaining cleaning supply inventories and supporting seasonal deep cleaning of interior and exterior areas. Responsibilities include ensuring safety procedures for chemical storage, conducting daily safety walkthroughs, and assisting with furniture moves for staffing changes or remodels.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, bathrooms, and common areas: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal.
• Maintain inventory control of cleaning supplies.
• Seasonal deep cleaning and maintenance of building interior and exterior (floor waxing, carpet cleaning, pressure wash).
• Ensure safety procedures are followed; conduct daily facility walk-through to remove or secure hazardous materials.
• Inspect and upkeep interior and exterior areas to keep them safe and clean.
• Assist with moving office and classroom furniture to support staffing changes and renovations.
• Valid MS Driver's License required.

Daily cleaning of classrooms, office, bathrooms, and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying trash.Maintain an inventory control of all cleaning supplies.Seasonal deep cleaning and maintenance of building interior and exterior (i.e. Floor waxing, carpet cleaning, pressure wash building).Ensure that safety and health procedures are followed as directed by established policies and procedures when storing and using chemicals, specifically, conduct daily walk-through of facility and playground areas to assure all potential dangerous/hazardous materials are removed and/or stored in locked cabinets or in secured storage areas separate from medications and foods and are accessible only to authorized staff ; monitor facility and grounds for compliance as appropriate.Perform routine inspections and regular up keep of interior and exterior areas to ensure areas are free of safety hazards, trash, weeds and other foreign materials.Perform regular upkeep of outside areas, including lawns, landscaped beds, play grounds and parking lots, to include weeding, trash and litter removal required to keep areas clean, neat and safe.Assist with moving office and classroom furniture, fixtures and equipment to support staffing changes, relocations, remodels, program expansion and custodial requirements.High School diploma or GED preferred and one year custodial or related work experience preferred.Must have scheduling flexibility to include availability to perform occasional emergency services outside of assigned work hours.Valid MS Driver's License
