Job summary

Challenge Unlimited is seeking a dependable part-time cleaner for the GSA Rockford location. The role runs 6:00am–9:00am, Monday through Friday, and pays $17.03 per hour.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing and restocking bathrooms, emptying trash, dusting offices, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Must be 18+, and able to pass background and registry checks. Benefits include life insurance, health plan, disability coverage, training, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass criminal background checks and state/federal registry checks.
• Able to lift, carry, walk, mop and bend.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize and restock bathrooms including sinks, toilets, glass and mirrors, stall walls, stainless steel and sweeping and mopping floors.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and stairs.
• Empty trash and various recyclable cans and replace liners, clean receptacles, as necessary.
• Dust and clean office areas, desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
• Clean break rooms and other areas that are applicable to the contract.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Contribute to teamwork by supporting co-workers.

Position Summary:

Pay Rate: $17.03 per hour
Shift: Part Time, 6:00am - 9:00am
Location: GSA Rockford

Typical Duties:

• Clean, sanitize and restock bathrooms including sinks, toilets, glass and mirrors, stall walls, stainless steel and sweeping and mopping floors. Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and stairs.
• Empty trash and various recyclable cans and replace liners, clean receptacles, as necessary.
• Dust and clean office areas, desks and furniture that are not cluttered. Clean windowsills and windows. Obtain tools necessary for the job to be completed.
• Clean break rooms and other areas that are applicable to the contract.
• Expected to safely operate equipment.
• Contributes to teamwork by training and helping co-workers.
• Continually performs duties with a special focus on safety, quality and customer service.

• Lifting and carrying
• Walking, mopping, bending.
