Didlake, Inc. is seeking a full-time Janitor in Portsmouth, VA to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming facilities for staff, clients, and visitors.

The role supports daily operations through floor care, dusting, restroom upkeep, waste disposal, and teamwork to ensure high-quality results. Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to obtain facility access credentials; Real ID is required for site access.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or six months custodial experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain facility access credentials and pass background checks.
• Must have a valid Real ID for access to the work site.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors using manual and powered equipment.
• Dust and clean furniture, equipment, fixtures, and metalwork.
• Clean windows, walls, ceilings, woodwork, and door panels.
• Maintain restrooms, showers, and washrooms; replenish supplies.
• Collect and dispose of trash, waste, and recyclables.
• Vacuum rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
• Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning equipment correctly.
• Work collaboratively with team members to produce high-quality results.
